A remarkable green initiative unfolded as SweetCanopy Foundation collaborated with Jupiter Public School in Bhubaneswar for a large-scale plantation drive, successfully planting 1,000 trees across the school campus. The event was more than just an act of planting; it was an immersive educational experience designed to inspire and empower the next generation.

During the drive, a vibrant seminar was organized for students, focusing on the importance of green credentials—an understanding of how environmental responsibility intersects with everyday actions and community well-being. Experts from SweetCanopy Foundation and the school’s faculty came together to discuss not only the ecological benefits of afforestation but also the lasting impact that such green efforts have on climate, health, and the local environment. Students were encouraged to see themselves as ‘green ambassadors,’ tasked with nurturing the saplings and sharing their newfound knowledge with friends and families.

This collaborative effort not only beautified the school’s surroundings with 1,000 new trees but also sowed the seeds of environmental stewardship and responsibility among young minds. The drive underscored how community partnerships can create both tangible and lifelong impacts for a sustainable tomorrow.
